Walter Bayes Chez Manelik de Toulon
A very interesting watercolour drawing by Walter Bayes who was a leading member of the Camden group and lecturer in perspective at the Slade Art School and the Royal Academy in the 1930's. This charming picture is titled "Chez Manelik de Toulon" and has a wonderful history in that it was lent to the Arts Council of Great Britain for exhibition by the artist's widow. It bears the label to record this reverso. Signed by initial and dated. ~ £775.
